Accelerating Into the Future

Accelerating Into the Future

Last week was a busy weekend that saw the culmination of a year’s worth of work come to life. Northwood University’s students worked out every detail of the 55th Annual International Auto Show, themed Accelerate, and those students shined as they interacted with the estimated 55,000 alumni, families and visitors who experienced the show. You can see photos from all of the events here In addition to a new Preview event, annual Auto Show Gala, and our Athletics Hall of Fame, we also held the dedication of the first phase of Founders Garden. Located in the heart of campus, this beautiful natural space commemorates the donors and founders of Northwood University, Dr. Arthur E. Turner and Dr. R. Gary Stauffer. The site is under construction, but still starting to take shape. In place already is the new walkway, Founders Way.

Upon completion of the project, Founders Garden will be a diverse outdoor meeting and gathering space with something for everyone. It will not only pay homage to our university’s supporters, at Recognition Park, but it will celebrate our foundation as a university and the vision that has brought us here today. From where we were to now, accelerate has truly been a relevant theme. Let’s keep the momentum going!

Have a great weekend,

Keith
