Summer is here, and with it the numerous projects that signify progress on our beautiful campus! Soon, we will start work on Hantz Stadium, where we are replacing the football-playing surface with turf. Also on the athletics side, we hope Northwood soccer fans will enjoy the new seating at Dean Field this fall, added in the last couple of weeks. Other campus updates include indoor renovations on Strosacker Library, and outdoor beautification as we develop Founder’s Garden. Both of these spaces will enhance our student experience and offer them places to relax, study and spend time with one another.
The largest construction project on the horizon for the future is phase II of North Village Apartment complex. This year our students raved about the state-of-the-art living and learning spaces in North Village, and we are looking to meet the demand for more with a second apartment-style building attached to the current one. We hope to get this project underway soon, but in the meantime, you can check out all of our projects via webcam at https://nusites.northwood.edu/webcam/.
This will be the final message for me until August, I wish everyone a safe and restful summer, and I look forward to welcoming you back for the fall and an exciting 2018-19 academic year!
Have a great weekend,
