This past week has been one of recognition for Northwood University! Monday kicked off the world-famous AAPEX and SEMA automotive aftermarket tradeshows in Las Vegas, Nevada. Northwood celebrated seven industry leaders with prestigious Automotive Aftermarket Management Education Awards at the AAPEX show. These leaders are devoted to advancing aftermarket education, and they serve as exceptional role models for Northwood’s future business leaders. Twenty-four Northwood students attended the show and gained valuable industry experience and connections, they were great representatives of our exceptional programs.
Our busy week will culminate at our Distinguished Women awards ceremony tomorrow. For 47 years, Northwood has been recognizing the incredible accomplishments of women. This year, Northwood recognizes seven women who, through leading the automotive industry, innovating within the fashion industry, and reviving cities through philanthropic efforts, have made enormous contributions to their communities. Distinguished Women serve as inspiration for our students, and embody the legacy of free-enterprise we are built on. I look forward to honoring these women tomorrow night!
Recognizing leadership with a strong foundation in our beliefs makes Northwood special. This week has been one of celebration for those who help us advance our mission to develop the future leaders of a global society. The future is bright.
Have a great weekend!
