Change is in full-swing at the Northwood University Midland campus. We are in the midst of a 30-month campus improvement effort that began in May 2015 with the new DeVos Graduate School of Management and renovation of Bennett Center. It continues through the summer and into 2017 with new and updated student housing, updated infrastructure, and other campus improvements. Identity, community, and growth best describe these efforts, and are front and center as we ensure the changes contribute to a strong sense of community here. These enhancements will serve as a framework for long-term development of NU’s programs and pave the way for a new era of learning for our students.
Our most important goal is to enrich the Northwood University experience for today’s students and create a path to a more sustainable future. We are working to ensure Northwood has ongoing relevance, vitality and individuality so we may continue providing our students with a world-class business education based on capitalism and free-enterprise.
Of course, with any construction project comes inconveniences for those who are on campus. Our top priority is the safety and convenience of our students, faculty, staff and visitors, so we ask that you please pardon our dust and follow all detour signs and safety instructions.
The new Riepma Arena was christened in December 2015 and last week we celebrated the grand opening of the DeVos Graduate School building. Now, we eagerly await the completion of other improvements to our campus. Thank you for your patience as we improve the Northwood experience, and special thanks to those involved in the campus-wide construction activities. Your efforts are making an important difference in the history of our Midland campus.
Have a great weekend!
