The campus of Northwood University grew in strength and stature on Thursday, as we celebrated our long-standing relationship with the DeVos family during the ribbon cutting of the new Richard DeVos Graduate School of Management building. Richard and Helen DeVos have embodied the Northwood spirit during their many years of entrepreneurial and philanthropic work in the community and their additional involvement and contributions to Northwood in the form of scholarships and other valuable programs.
It is our constant mission to provide inspirational learning spaces that promote freedom, collaboration and inclusion for the scholars of NU. Serving as the new home for our six graduate programs and more than 300 graduate-level students, the 26,800-square-foot facility contains state-of-the-art technology and classroom arrangements designed to equip our free-thinkers with the skills necessary to drive personal, organizational and societal prosperity.
Armed with reflective work spaces, laboratories and lounges, the DeVos Graduate School of Management building is an ideal setting that will enhance our ability to successfully convey the principles of free enterprise to our students.
It is with great honor that we dedicate this first-class learning environment to such an impactful family. Thank you to all who helped make this project possible. The meaning behind the DeVos name will ring strong for years to come on the campus of Northwood University.
Have a wonderful weekend!
