Welcome Students

It’s Welcome Weekend at Northwood and we are excited to see our students back on campus for the 2015/16 academic year. This year we welcome a class of new students, freshmen and transfers, that is larger than last year. Our DeVos Graduate school enrollment is the second largest class in its history. We believe these increases are indicative of our long-term, strategic commitment of “driving Northwood University forward.”

An important part of Welcome Weekend is making sure our students feel at home here. We want to give our learners an excellent start by encouraging them to get to know the faculty, staff and resources available to them here.  This year will be a transformational time for our new students as we help them start their growth into the leaders and entrepreneurs who will shape our future global, free-enterprise society.

A key event during Welcome Weekend is Crossing Over. This symbolizes the transition from high school to their future here at Northwood University and beyond. As the new students cross over, they embrace a unique and time-honored duty as a Northwood University student, as future alumna or alumnus, and as future leaders of the global, free enterprise society.

Thank you for journeying with us now, as we welcome our incoming class, and throughout the year. Your support and commitment are greatly appreciated as we continue providing our students with a world-class business education, based on the free-enterprise system.

Please join us in welcoming and congratulating the newest members of the Northwood University Wolf Pack.

Enjoy your weekend.
