June 30, 2015 became a significant day in the history of Northwood University. It’s not only the end of June and our fiscal year; it is the day that Northwood University completed the transaction, involving the West Palm Beach campus, with Keiser University. As we start the new year focused on “Moving Northwood University Forward”, we look back with fond memories on Northwood University’s West Palm Beach location. For 31 years, we were privileged to offer an exceptional academic experience in Florida and proud to help usher thousands of students into successful business careers. We offer a heartfelt “thank you” to the West Palm Beach faculty and staff for their passion and commitment. Their efforts helped establish Northwood University in the Florida market and will serve Keiser University well through this transition. We also wish to thank our staff and associates from both Florida and Michigan who helped ensure a successful process.
We wish the Keiser administration, staff and students all the very best as they continue to pursue the tradition of academic excellence begun by Northwood University.
Heading into the 4th of July holiday, we are reminded of the strong alignment between our country’s founding principles and Northwood’s philosophy of promoting individual freedom, responsibility, integrity and the power of free enterprise. We are grateful for our strong nation and join with every American in celebrating the freedoms we enjoy because of those values.
Enjoy the 239th Independence Day and the beautiful summer weather.
