The past weekend brought to mind the lyrics to the Fats Waller jazz favorite because our Midland campus was "really jumping" with activity. In addition to the 60,000+ visitors to the campus for the 51st Annual Northwood University International Auto Show – always a resounding success – we hosted an Admissions Open House Friday that drew more than 850 potential students, and their parents and teachers. The Open House was a prime opportunity for prospective students to acquaint themselves with our University. Campus tours were conducted while walking through the Auto Show and the more than 500 vehicles from around the world. What a great experience to see Northwood University students demonstrating their entrepreneurial spirit and connecting all the best Northwood University has to offer. We hope many of the high school students choose to attend Northwood University.
And on the heels of the busy auto show weekend come more campus visits for students who want to learn about our programs offered throughout the Northwood University system. Our Florida Campus will host an open house tomorrow for potential students, and today we welcome 80 high school juniors and seniors on our Midland Campus for the Learning About Business program. There is no better way to get young people excited about a potentially prosperous future than to have them visit one of our campuses to explore first-hand what makes a Northwood University education a fun, challenging and rewarding experience.
The next several weeks will continue to bring a flurry of activity as more students explore what it means to be a Northwood University student. We’re connecting with hundreds of potential students, showing them Northwood University can be their path to success. Come out and see what all the excitement is about!
Have a great weekend!
