Students Learn About Business
Next week, young business minds from all over the country will come to campus this week for Northwood University’s annual Learning About Business (LAB) Free-Enterprise Camp. LAB Free-Enterprise camp is an award-winning five-day program for business-minded high school sophomores and juniors who want to jump-start their future success. In addition to the challenging curriculum and real-life simulations, LAB students have the opportunity to interact with Northwood faculty, live in residence halls and make daily use of the student recreational and athletic facilities.
Here at Northwood University, we believe in the spirit of free-enterprise, and that competition brings out our best ideas and our strongest leaders. Free-Enterprise is the foundation of Northwood’s business education, and it gives rise to creative thinkers who are guided by an inner compass drawing them toward leadership and success.
The LAB Free-Enterprise Camp is designed to develop the next generation of entrepreneurial-minded business leaders through this hands-on, real-world program. It serves as a learning opportunity and also introduces a new generation of leaders to the Northwood IDEA and continues Northwood University’s mission to develop the future leaders of a global, free-enterprise society. We look forward to celebrating their accomplishments this week and hope to welcome them back in the future as Northwood students.
Have a great weekend!
