Northwood’s Summer Camps
Even though it seems summer should be a time to slow down, the campus is livelier than ever.
Each year, Northwood hosts high school and college students at our campus in Midland for various camps and activities that are intended to challenge the minds and expand the horizons of future business leaders and budding entrepreneurs.
Northwood University’s Learning About Business (LAB) Entrepreneurial Summer Camp will start later this month. LAB offers high school sophomores and juniors an opportunity to learn from industry professionals and network with entrepreneurs while competing in business development. We seek out to educate high school students with an entrepreneurial spirit who are creative thinkers and innovative leaders, guided by an inner compass that draws them toward values such as personal responsibility, global awareness, philanthropy and high ethical standards.
A variety of sports camps are available for youth who want to improve their individual and team skills while experiencing Northwood’s campus life. Sports camps include a range of football, volleyball and basketball concentrations. Here athletes have the ability to connect with coaches and other like-minded athletes to hone in on their athletic and leadership skills.
We’ll also enjoy the sounds of music on our campus, thanks to marching band programs from several Michigan high school bands. These include musicians from Freeland, John Glenn, Rochester and Warren Mott High Schools. Band camps offer students a chance to learn new techniques and improve skills in marching band, color guard and dance.
Have a great weekend!
