Welcoming New Faces

Welcoming New Faces

Today is a busy day on our campus as we host our spring orientation and welcome many new faces to Northwood University. I had the pleasure of welcoming these students this morning, as they prepared to spend the day meeting one another, their faculty, and getting to know our campus better.

The orientation group for spring 2019 is one of the most diverse groups we have seen. I am looking forward to seeing students from countries all over the world—Asia, South America and Europe—add to the rich culture of our campus and contribute to our student body.

As the world grows increasingly diverse, and each of us grow increasingly connected, it is more important than ever to ensure we are leaders in the multicultural nature of business today. Within the Northwood Idea is the belief that our differences make us valuable to one another, and more capable of solving the complex problems facing the world today.

As we usher in new faces from new places, today is an exciting beginning for all of us here at Northwood. I welcome our newest students, and we are looking forward to welcoming back all of our students for the spring semester next week!

Have a great weekend,
