Kyle Batta, Northwood University Florida’s 2014 Auto Show Captain is a three-year veteran of the event who plans on revitalizing the show by incorporating the international flavor of the university and by showcasing technological breakthroughs in the industry that will change global travel. Having climbed the ladder from Nissan/Kia Team Captain, to Asian Brand Manager, to Chairman, Batta’s passion for the automotive industry runs much deeper than most, and it shows. An Automotive Marketing and Management major, he is from Boston Massachusetts and his family is in the automotive dealership business.
The “Dine, Dream, Drive” themed event promises family fun for everyone. “We look forward to hosting this international affair as part of Florida’s 30th Anniversary Welcome Weekend activities which will greet alumni and friends from across the globe,” said Batta. “Between the international food trucks, the family oriented activities, our women’s and men’s basketball games and our open house program, there will definitely be something for everyone,” added Batta of the show which will display more than 200 new domestic and imported cars and recreational vehicles ranging from $10,000 - $400,000. With Automotive Marketing and Management being one of Northwood University’s unique programs, the university has educated leaders in the franchised automotive retail market, educating several thousand automobile dealers and managers for the past several decades.
